Elvis Breakfast Sandwich

Ingredients

  • 2 thick slices brioche bread, cut into 4 inch circles
  • 2 teaspoons butter, softened
  • 1 tablespoon peanut butter
  • 1 medium banana, sliced into 12 slices
  • 2 slices cooked bacon

Directions

  1. Preheat Breakfast Sandwich Maker until green PREHEAT light comes on. Lift cover, top ring and cooking plate.
  2. Spread 1 teaspoon of butter on one side of each brioche circle. Turn one brioche circle over and spread on peanut butter.
  3. Place brioche with peanut butter, buttered size down, in bottom ring of Breakfast Sandwich Maker. Top with 6 banana slices and bacon.
  4. Lower cooking plate and top ring. Add remaining banana slices and top with remaining brioche circle, buttered side up.
  5. Close cover. Cook 1 ½ to 2 minutes.
  6. Slide out cooking plate by rotating handle clockwise. Lift cover and rings; carefully remove sandwich with plastic spatula

Serves: 1

Test Kitchen Tip:

Use the ring to measure the 4-inch circles of bread.
