Air Fry Sweet Potato Chips

Ingredients

  • 1 small (2-inch diameter) sweet potato, peeled and sliced thin 
  • 1 teaspoon olive oil 
  • Salt, optional

Directions

  1. For Air Fryer: 

    1. In a medium bowl, toss sweet potato slices with olive oil. 
    2. Arrange sweet potato slices in air fryer basket in a single layer. Sprinkle with salt, if desired. 
    3. Set air fryer temperature on 425°F. Turning halfway through, cook 18 to 20 minutes or until sweet potato edges are lightly browned and crisp. 
    4. Cool on paper towels before serving. 

    For Air Fryer Toaster Oven: 

    1. Preheat toaster oven on Air Fry to 450°F. 
    2. In a medium bowl, toss sweet potato slices with olive oil. 
    3. Arrange sweet potato slices in air fryer basket in a single layer. Place basket on bake/broil pan. Sprinkle sweet potatoes with salt, if desired.  
    4. Slide pan into upper rack position. Turning halfway through, cook 18 to 20 minutes or until sweet potato edges are lightly browned and crisp. 
    5. Cool on paper towels before serving.  

    Serves: 2

    Test Kitchen Tip: For a different flavor treat, sprinkle with ground cinnamon. Gently toss until well coated.
